Legend has it that Lord Rama, burdened with the aftermath of defeating King Ravana, sought solace and forgiveness from Lord Shiva at this sacred site. Here, amidst serene surroundings, he received divine blessings and guidance.

Visit Manavari Temple - The Manavari Temple holds a deeply spiritual significance. It's here that a profound chapter of devotion unfolded. After vanquishing King Ravana, who was a Brahmin, Lord Rama sought solace by installing a Shiva Lingam, a divine symbol, as an act of atonement to Lord Shiva.

Then proceed to the ancient city of Anuradhapura.

Visit Kanniya Hotwater Sprin - In the realm of legend, Kanniya emerges as the sacred ground where King Ravana, consumed by grief, bid farewell to his beloved mother. Bereft of water to perform her last rites, his frustration swelled until he thrust his Trishul into the earth seven times. In an enchanting twist, water surged forth from seven wells, quelling the king's wrath and soothing his anguish. Remarkably, each well bears a distinct temperature, a testament to the profound magic that dwells in this place.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic journey from Trincomalee to Kandy. The drive takes approximately 4-5 hours, offering picturesque views of the Sri Lankan heritage sites.

Visit Dambulla Cave Temple: The Dambulla temple complex, located at the base of a towering 150-meter-high rock, boasts five caves transformed into sacred shrine rooms adorned with over 1,500 captivating ceiling murals. King Valagambahu, exiled, sought refuge here and later converted the caves into a rock temple as a heartfelt gesture.

After breakfast, begin a scenic journey from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya through Ramboda. The drive typically takes approximately 2 hours and offers picturesque views of the Sri Lankan Hillside.

Visit Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple and Ramboda Waterfall: Ramboda is renowned for two prominent attractions: the impressive 109-meter-high Ramboda waterfalls and the revered Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple. This centuries-old tradition endures, with villagers pledging their unwavering fidelity at this sacred site.

According to the Ramayana trail tour, it's believed to have fallen from the sky when Hanuman carried the Dronagiri Mountain to obtain Sanjeevani herbs to heal the injured Lakhshmana and Rama, making it a vital Ramayana pilgrimage site.
