On arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, you will get your first taste of warm Sri Lankan hospitality; Representative from Aventra Travels (Pvt) Limited will Welcome you and transfer to Negombo beach hotel for relaxing your self.

After breakfast head for Dambulla. En route visit the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala. Then continue on to explore the famous Golden Rock cave temple which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Recognised as a sacred pilgrimage site for 22 centuries, this cave monastery, a vast isolated rock mass with its five caverns is the largest best preserved cave-temple complex in Sri Lanka.

After breakfast leave for Sigiriya. Begin the morning by climbing the rock fortress of Sigiriya - a 5th Century "Fortress in the Sky". Built by King Kassapa the fortress was a Royal Citadel for more than 18 years.

After breakfast head to Kandy, the bustling hill country capital is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In the Evening you will visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic. Thereafter enjoy the Kandyan Cultural show at the Kandyan Arts & Cultural Centre. The show features the graceful and rhythmic dancers and drummers culminating in an impressive fire walking display.

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to visit Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden

This botanical garden was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was expanded by the British.  It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers.

After that go for a city tour in Kandy.

After breakfast, leave for Nuwara Eliya. The beautiful town of Nuwara Eliya, set in the heart of Tea country and situated 1890 meters above sea level, is where the British succeeded in creating an English countryside with homes in styles from Georgian to Queen Anne.

Proceed to Horton Plains after breakfast . Then visit Ambewela Farm which gives a significant contribution for Sri Lankan dairy production.

Horton Plains

Horton Plains is located on a high windswept saddle at about 7000-ft elevation.  The Plains are an expanse of misty grassland with scraggy trees and ice-cold rivulets.  Visit World’s End considered to be the finest view in all of Sri Lanka.  The awesome escarpment drops vertically for about 4000 ft, hence its named as Horton Plains.   Here you could find endemic Slender Loris and endemic Purple Monkeys amongst the animal species that can be seen.

Proceed to Ella, is a little village surrounded by high mountains and breathtaking vistas in the central hills of the country. It is famous for the Ella Gap – a gap in the mountains where you can see all the way up to the ocean. It is also a base for plenty of trekking expeditions to the surrounding countryside and offers many beautiful scenery and waterfalls.

After Breakfast proceed to Yala National Park ,is one of Sri Lanka’s premier eco tourist destinations and is renowned for its variety of wildlife notably its many elephants. It is also home to the spotted deer, sambar, wild buffalo, sloth bear, jackal, mongoose and crocodiles. The peacock is easily the most famous of the birds in this park. Yala has a high concentration of leopards although seeing these nocturnal carnivores still requires some luck. The Park also houses a number of species of butterflies such as Crimson Rose, Common Lime Butterfly, Common Jezebel and many more... Go for a jeep safari in park at the evening.

After breakfast depart for Bentota en rout visit to the Galle, the capital of the southern province is a city with a colourful history. Being a UNESCO declared World Heritage Site; the magnificent Dutch Fort is the most popular attraction of the town. Proceed to Bentota.

Visit Colombo :
Colombo, like many capital cities in developing countries is fast changing its face. Almost overnight, skyscrapers arise from where old buildings once stood. Yet in some parts, the old world charm is retained. For example, there is a 100-year-old clock tower and several British built colonial buildings. Other places of interest are the Pettah bazaar – where one can shop for bargain. Then stay leisure at the evening.
